Especially for the 2nd part which sometimes bugs out and he'll immediately go into full screen attacks if you hurt him fast enough. In particular, the 1st and 2nd phases have attacks that fill the screen blowing so much crap everywhere so quickly, a no-hit win here will be elusive. All 3 have attacks that trigger once the health bar hits a certain %. This very much comes in handy with The First Hero. If you do die, the game will autosave immediately ending your run. As long as you don't die, you can quit the game and restart the same level you got to. One of those exploits is save scumming as outlined in Skeptical Mario's solution. I managed to pull this off, but not without taking full advantage of exploits. The dev console was patched out, so you'll have to get it legit now. *Occasionally, the first set of items sold by the collector will change the first time the Black Market is reloaded. Reloading the special room with the huge chest randomizes the contents of the smaller chests, but not the contents of the huge chest. Given that there are 36 different inscriptions, I don't recommend farming too heavily to get something you want. Random inscriptions on the Prince's Box and the Clone Stamp are random with each reload (though the items' appearance is not). The item duplicated by the Slime Prince is the same every time, but if you destroy that item first, something else will be duplicated you can go down the queue destroying more items until you get an optimal result. Reloading the level in this way does change random outcomes of freed NPCs: Reloading the level in this way does not re-seed end-of-level rewards, or the items available in the Black Market (most of the time*), including the refreshed inventory. Some random things are different each time the game is reloaded. This makes it possible to practice individual bosses and keep your current run from ending badly. If you quit to dashboard before dying, when you restart the game will load at the beginning of the current level. These are general notes on save scumming, which I used to practice and defeat other bosses. Derived from the pain and hate of life itself, Dark Quartz taints and takes control of everything it touches.Note: This solution is not specific to the First Hero boss. At the end of every chapter, go head-to-head with massive bosses corrupted with Dark Quartz and powerful beyond belief. So just wait and see who really is the hunter and who is the hunted. While Skul may be small, he still packs quite a punch. The power is in your hands! Skul has crossed paths with a party of Adventurers! They are powerful foes that hunt Demons for sport. Choose combos that match your playing style and switch them in the heat of battle to bring your enemies to their knees. Use up to 2 skulls at a time, each of which has its own unique attack range, speed and power. In addition to his formidable fighting skills, he can gain new and exciting abilities depending on which skull he's wearing. It will keep you on your toes, as you will never know what to expect. Skul: The Hero Slayer is an action-platformer that boasts rogue-like features such as everchanging and challenging maps. All of the demons in the castle were taken prisoner except for one lone skeleton named "Skul". They attacked the Demon stronghold with overwhelming numbers and succeeded in its total destruction. What makes this time different though, is that the Adventurers decided to join forces with the Imperial Army and the 'Hero of Caerleon' to lead a full onslaught in hopes of wiping out the Demons once and for all. The human race attacking the Demon King's castle is nothing new and has happened countless times before. Enjoy the trailer! Hunt down all of the evil in your path as Skul, courtesy of NEOWIZ. The game is set to be released on January 21st, 2021, and already looks like it might be one of the best indie platformers of the year. The developers chose to do the reveal of the game through IGN, who showed it off this morning, which you can check out down at the bottom. NEOWIZ and SouthPaw Games have released an official launch trailer today for their upcoming game Skul: The Hero Slayer.
